Ghazal 305: In the season of the rose I was ashamed of having repented of wine

Interpretation of the fal
You regret and are ashamed of a decision you took against your own heart and nature. Affected piety is nothing but a snare: be honest with yourself. You are tired of asking and asking: put your hope in the other person's generosity. What you have chosen is so good that there is no cause for shame: speak of it with your head held high.
